Animal Angels Foundation is India’s pioneering non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the field of Human-Animal Interaction (HAI) and Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI). With over 14 years of experience, Animal Angels Foundation offers programs that bring trained therapy dogs and pet-parent teams into therapeutic settings, creating impactful human-animal interaction programs to benefit diverse communities. Their work has solidified their status as Asia’s only IAHAIO (International Association of Human Animal Interaction Organization) member, underscoring their commitment to maintaining international standards of practice in AAI within India.
Animal Angels Foundation specializes in training and certification for organizations, therapists, volunteers, and animal-handler teams to ensure safe, professional, and effective therapy sessions. Their mission is rooted in setting a high standard for animal welfare, client safety, and therapy effectiveness, shaping the AAI landscape in India and creating a legacy of compassion and professionalism.
Their leadership recognized the need to transform their digital presence. Their existing website, developed over five years ago, had become outdated, lacking the structure, design, and navigability needed to support their growing mission. The content was dense and scattered, making it difficult for visitors to understand the scope of their work and engage with their programs.
Our objective was to breathe new life into their online platform by crafting a visually compelling, organized, and user-centric website that not only showcased their work but also facilitated user engagement and interaction. The aim was to create a digital space that effectively communicated their mission, highlighted their programs, and provided visitors with an intuitive experience aligned with modern design standards.

To understand the vision and values of Animal Angels Foundation, we conducted in-depth interviews with the founders and key stakeholders. These sessions provided insights into their priorities, the target audience’s needs, and the challenges they faced with the old website.
By identifying key audience segments—potential clients, volunteers, donors, and therapy professionals—we gathered data on their information needs, navigation preferences, and engagement triggers, ensuring the website would cater to a broad yet targeted user base.

Our primary objective was to organize the content so that visitors could easily navigate and access information. We developed a streamlined information architecture that guided users naturally through the website, prioritizing core information and making navigation intuitive.
The new user interface was inspired by Animal Angels Foundation’s compassionate mission. Using soft color palettes, engaging visuals of therapy animals, and clean layouts, we created a calming, welcoming aesthetic that reflected the therapeutic nature of their work. The UX design emphasized simplicity and accessibility, making it easy for users of all ages to engage with the site.
To enhance readability, we used a carefully selected typography and layout system that directed users’ attention to key content sections, calls to action, and program highlights. Each page was structured to guide the user effortlessly from general information to specific calls to action.
